• “The British Are Coming! Recruiting for the Georgia Militia”

  • The year is 1775 and Georgians must decide if they should take up arms against the Crown. The militia will be inside the Barracks looking for recruits against tyranny. Need convincing? Check out the musket firings he'll also offer!

• “The Well-Dressed Word: Outfitting the books of the 1700s”

  • While you should never judge a book by its cover, it is also said that “the clothes make the man”. Our bookbinder welcomes you to witness a demonstration of the art and craft of dressing a book to be both eye-catching and strong. The judgement, in turn, is left to you.
