Ride/Race Day Details

7:30 start – 100 Milers – Century warriors! - Yellow

  • You will follow the yellow path today – circles with arrows on pavement and little yellow wire flags on the side wherever you are about to make a turn – will be your cues.

  • Rest stops: at mile 21.3, 40.1, 56.8 and 76.6– they have pickle juice and porta potties, along with other snacks and water refills.

  • Due to policies of the Harris Neck Wildlife Refuge, we are making a slight modification of the route to ensure you get to a 100-mile ride.

  • Early in the ride, you will do a 4 mile in and out through the beautiful neighborhood of Tolomato Island to a loop at the end of the island and back.  Taking a right- back onto 99, you will be chased by the 66 milers eager to catch you!

  • Have fun!

7:45 start – 66 milers – Metric Century  - Orange

  • Follow the bright orange path today.  Pavement markings and orange wire flags where you are about to make a turn will be your cues.

  • Rest stops at mile 17, 35, 42.4 and 57.4

  • Once you turn into Harris Neck Parking lot where there will be a rest stop, that will be your turnaround. 

  • They have pickle juice and porta potties! Along with other snacks and water refills.

  • Young Man Rd has new pavement!  Last year it made you feel old, this year smooth as silk!

8:00 start – 42 Milers - White

  • Follow the White path today.  Pavement markings and White wire flags where you are about to make a turn will be your cues today.

  • Rest stops – Mile 17 and 32.3

  • They have pickle juice and porta potties! Along with other snacks and water refills.

8:15 start – 21 Milers - Blue

  • Follow the Blue path today.  Pavement markings and Blue wire flags where you areabout to make a turn will be your cues.

  • Your turnaround will be at the rest stop in Sea Breeze.  If you don’t want to stop, simply ride the circle driveway and head back to the finish line!

  • Porta potty and snacks waiting at mile market 10.5!

9:00 start – 3 Mile Slow rollers -Green

  • The Black Island Bridge is your turnaround.  

  • Follow the Green path today.  Pavement markings and Green wire flags where you are about to make a turn will be your cues

Routes have been finalized, aid stations are noted on the maps, and you can upload course routes from the Ride with GPS & STRAVA app to add to your computer or device.

 

* Early packet pick-up will be at Darien United Methodist Church, 201 Franklin St. Darien, GA on Friday, Feb. 16th from 5:30 – 7:00pm. You’ll get your bib, swag bag, t-shirt, and timing chips you signed up for that. Please bring photo ID.

 

* Day-of packet pick-up and registration will be in Vernon Square Park near the start line for the race. Please bring photo ID.  The park doesn't actually have a street address, but this will get you there: 201 Franklin St. Darien, GA 31305

 

* Parking is at McIntosh County Middle School. 500 Green St. Darien, GA 31305.  Look for the signs. 

 

* All rides start in Vernon Square Park.

* ​Optional Timing: We are again utilizing timing chip bands from Second Wind Timing, (if you chose to be timed). Strap it on either you or your bike. They will be collected by volunteers immediately after you cross the finish line. Please do not make us chase you! :) (there’s a $75 replacement fee). If you did not purchase a chip timer during registration and want to be timed, please reach out to us ASAP to get one: ridethepartygras@gmail.com

* AWARDS: For chip-timed riders ONLY. Medals for top 3 places, Male & Female, by ride length. Awards can be picked up at the Timing Tent after results are in. Placement and timing certificates will be emailed to chipped participants.

* No chips for E-bikes or tandems. 

 

Did you know that your BIB is your CONCERT TICKET with your 21, 42, METRIC CENTURY, or CENTURY ride registration?? Following the bike events, Party Gras on the Coast is having a concert featuring The Swingin’ Medallions, and you’re invited! Need additional tickets? Only a $15 donation!

Get tickets here! Bring a folding chair and come join the party! Gates open at 3pm, concert starts at 4pm.
